Our Management Team
Gateway Domestic Violence Services was formed in 1977 and is formerly known as Gateway Battered Women’s Services, a non-profit 501 (C) agency. The experienced management has been servicing victims of Arapahoe County for 39 years. With more than 50 full-time, part-time and volunteers, Gateway continues to grow helping the diverse needs of our domestic violence victims.
Linda James began serving as the Executive Director of Gateway in 1990. She has over 35 years of experience in administration of nonprofit agencies with expertise in grant writing, supervision of personnel and fundraising.
Director of Community Development
Jeneen is the Director of Development and Public Relations for Gateway. She has been associated with Gateway since 1990, volunteering for three years and continued her association as a paid employee. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications and Journalism. Her expertise is in public speaking, writing, special event planning and volunteer coordination.
Director of Programs
Donna serves as the Director of Programs of the agency and is responsible for program development, supervision of staff, and services to women and children. Donna has worked at Gateway since 1990 and has over 30 years in the domestic violence field. Donna has her Masters in Counseling.
Director of Court Advocacy
Lisa is the Director of the Court Advocacy Program. She holds a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy and began with Gateway in 2012. She is responsible for directing the program, supervision of court advocates, providing direct services and coordinating the criminal justice response to domestic violence victims.
Director of Emergency Shelter
Terese is the Residential Director of the emergency shelter. She has her Bachelors in Social Work and has been working at Gateway since 1998. With over 30 years of experience in the domestic violence field, she brings a deep working knowledge of domestic violence dynamics and client service delivery within a residential program.
Director of Extended Stay
As the Residential Director of Extended Stay, Patrice is responsible for the daily operations, program development, and direct services to the women and children. With Gateway since 1997, Patrice holds her BA in Criminal Justice and Criminology and has her Masters in Public Administration.
