Gateway relies on our passionate and caring volunteers to augment the services that we provide to domestic violence victims. We provide formal Gateway training classes for all volunteers to participate in.
RESIDENTIAL CHILDREN’S COUNSELOR
Full-time Children’s Counselor position at North Shelter. The shift is Sunday through Wednesday (10 hour shifts). Provide counseling services to child victim/witnesses of domestic violence. Includes: intake services, individual, group, and family counseling, parenting education for parent, crisis intervention, advocacy, referrals, and development of community resources, some public speaking involved. Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or 2 years experience in counseling intervention with children.
